Jimi Brooks and Bozena Kutyba-Brooks give birth to son Pascal Francis in Kraków, Poland (9 lbs and 20.5 inches)!
1998
Legacy of Brooks wines begins. Founded by Jimi Brooks.
The 300 case production was produced at Willakenzie Estate where Jimi was the Assistant Winemaker.
Janus Pinot Noir and the Willamette Valley Riesling and Pinot Noir were all founded.
1999
Runaway Red founded after a barrel escaped in the middle of the night during harvest.
2000
Amycas was created. an intriguing Alsatian style blend with lovely aromatics and good acidity.
2001
Jimi becomes Winemaker for Maysara Winery and continued to manage the Momtazi Vineyard biodynamically in the Mcminnville Foothills.
2003
Jimi becomes a pioneer and practitioner of biodynamic farming in Oregon.
Brooks becomes a part of the Eola Hills Vineyard program, owned by Don and Carolyn Byard. Jimi begins to farm the land and vines biodynamically.
Known as “The eye of the dragon” Rastaban Pinot Noir becomes the first single vineyard to be bottled under the Brooks label.
Two new Rieslings are produced and added to the portfolio of wines: Ara Riesling and Tethys Late Harvest Riesling.
2005
Brooks becomes a featured winery at the International Pinot Noir Celebration for the first time.
Brooks Founder and visionary, Jimi Brooks sadly passes away at age 38.
The legacy of Brooks Wines continues with the outstanding support of the Oregon wine community.
Pascal Brooks becomes sole owner of Brooks Wines - known as the youngest winery owner in the world. Jimi’s sister Janie Brooks Heuck volunteers her time to lead the winery operation.
2005
Chris Williams is promoted to Winemaker and Lindsay Woodard joins the team to oversee marketing and brand development of the winery.
Launch of the new website!
Brooks takes full control of the Eola Hills Vineyard and converts to farming the land and vines 100% biodynamic.
2006
Production increases from 3,500 cases to 6,500 cases.
Equinox wine club is founded.
2007
Brooks becomes a featured winery at the Oregon Pinot Camp and Riesling Rendezvous for the first time.
2008
Celebrating ten years of winemaking!
Brooks moves into first winery nestled in the heart of the Eola Hills!
