I love the red floral notes on this wine; rose petals and hibiscus, slightly meaty like prosciutto and shaved parmesan, violets and rosemary with a high note of candied cherry Ludens cough drops. Red plum, mirin and sesame oil, rhubarb, cranberry and strawberry with a touch of wild herbs. Delicious texture, crazy red cherry finish and beautiful balanced acidity. Such a crowd pleaser.
I would do this with tea roasted duck and cherries, Chinese food would rock with this, any classic favorites would be amazing.
