Earthy, blackberry, black plum and black cherry with exotic spices on the nose. Purple flowers, tree bark, forest floor and white mush- rooms. Intense, fruit forward and powerful nose.
Rich and meaty, dark red cherry, wild blackberries from the vine and earthy roast beet and mush- room flavors. Ripe and full bodied, slightly stemmy and brambly with moderate grit and mulberry, root beer and black fruit on the finish. Moderate acidity that adds a nice freshness to the ripe fruit.
This would work well with fat. A delicious marbled steak with mush- rooms, spare ribs, carne asada on the grill, etc.
