2014 Ingram Lane Riesling

$24 / Bottle

Bethel Heights planted Ingram Lane Vineyard in 2008 in the volcanic soils of the Eola Amity Hills, showcasing ripe stone fruit with gorgeous floral aromatics.

Chris Blanchard, MS
True, pure, Riesling aromatics of petrol, wet stone, tangerine and orange with a wonderful perfume of honeysuckle, iris and citrus flowers. I love the slight herbal notes of fava shoots and green
bean that compliment the freshness of this Riesling. Wow! Such a beautiful wine, with just a hint of residual sweetness, that is lifted by a nerve of acidity. The wine has such an incredible rich texture filled with ripe apple, pear, tangerine and a touch of grapefruit. It finishes with crispy acidity, fruit and a touch of bitterness like the pith of a fresh orange. This could work nicely with thick slices of seared tuna with a crust of Indian spices or a salad of sliced fennel and apples. It might even be a nice finisher with wild strawberries and fresh fruit.
