White mushroom, white truffle and fresh goat cheese in the nose, followed by white pear peach and sourdough. A slight smoky note with honeysuckle, jasmine, white floral notes and dryer sheets. Flamed orange peel, sassafras and red currant. Such an amazingly complex nose!
Lemon pie, key lime pie, tart tatin and lemon curd. Bright, fresh, and crisp with pure acidity and a nervy finish. The texture starts rich and whittles down in to a crisp and tart mouth feel, that makes you want another sip immediately. The fruit here is green apple, lemon, lime, apricot, nectarine and tangerine and is so beautiful as a starter wine to a summer meal outdoors. I imagine an heirloom tomato salad with just pulled mozzarella and basil, classic prosciutto and melon, salmon crudo or an arugula parmesan salad with a lemon and olive oil dressing.
