Melon and ripe grapefruit on the notes with fresh cut herbs, lemongrass and thyme. Definite aromas of white peach and pear, with high notes of lemon and lime.
Crisp and focused in the purity of fruit, finishing with refreshing lime-like racy acidity. Lemon curd, and Charlyn melon, hints of grapefruit with the roundness of ripe peaches and pears. This wine is lighter in body with an intense verve of bright fruit, minerality and acid.
This is clearly a wine for Asian food. Fatty tuna with soy and ginger. Chicken or pork yakitori with mirin, or fleshy, fatty salmon belly and yuzu. A wonderful zinger as an aperitif.
