2015 Brooks Estate Riesling

$ 32.00 / Bottle

50% of the Ara is from Brooks Estate, yet so delicious on its own that we made a special and limited bottling of our old vine volcanic estate Riesling. Planted in 1974, the complex textures and aromas are meant to age gracefully but be fruity and delicious and ready to drink now!
Chris Blanchard, M.S.

Beautiful spring herbs, cut grass, chervil and sorrel on the nose. Cantaloupe, orange, citrus blossoms. Nectarine, tangerine, melon, red apple and fig. Very complex aromas with a perceived mineral high tone.

The wine is fleshy and mouth filling, ripe, medium bodied, big fruit and citrus flavors, finishing very long with wonderful brightness. Pear, peach, green apple, honeysuckle, orange peel, citrus blossom. Expansive and complex. Stunning.

The Brooks Estate is opulent and majestic, and would be amazing with seared tuna, lobster and morels, soft shell crabs or scallops and citrus. Absolutely versatile for a first course or main.
