2012 Ara Riesling

2012 Ara Riesling

Named after the altar of the centaur known as Chiron, who was half horse, half man, and thought to be the wisest creature on Earth. Produced biodynamically when the stars are in the right alignment, this wine represents power and finesse and evolves in the cellar into a wine that truly is stellar.

The grapes for our Ara Riesling come from vines in Yamhill Vineyards and our Brooks Estate. Élevage takes place in stainless steel to retain the vibrant fruit character of Willamette Valley Riesling.

You’ll notice that the 2012 is our current release. We hold this wine back a few years to develop additional complexity and to let the wine’s character develop. We recommend socking a few bottles away in your wine cellar for 4-6 years – you’ll be pleased with the results!
