91 Points | Wine Enthusiast - The vines date back to 1974, and there are suggestions of old-vine complexity throughout. The nuanced flavors mix Meyer lemon, apricot, peach and papaya, with defining acidity that is almost sweet rather than tart. A streak of minerality zips through the finish.

Winemaking Notes

Comprised of riesling grapes from our very own Brooks Estate vineyard located in the Eola-Amity Hills. The vines were planted between 1974-1976 in volcanic basalt-nekia and jory soil. Brooks Estate Vineyard is farmed biodynamically.

A warm winter yielded bud break three weeks earlier than normal and lead into bloom under exceptional weather conditions. A dry and hot summer was broken up by rain in late August, and favorably cooled down in September in time to result in one of the earliest harvests on record. The grapes at harvest were extraordinary in quantity and quality, offering ripeness, balance, and expressive flavor.
