2019 Brooks Estate Pinot Gris
Deliciously bright with complex, old-vine characteristics. Notes of Meyer lemon, citrus blossom and tropical fruits dance on the palate with a saline, oyster shell finish.
Comprised of Pinot Gris grapes from our very own Brooks Estate vineyard located in the Eola-Amity Hills. The vines were planted in 1979 in volcanic basalt soil. Brooks Estate is biodynamic.

What our team says
Bright and vibrant, this Pinot Gris has elegant notes of citrus blossom, meyer lemon, and starfruit with a subtly mineral finish.
Pear crisp with butter, cinnamon, almond crumble, brown sugar and fresh lemon.
Notes of meyer lemon blossom and golden kiwi followed by thirst-quenching acidity and lingering saline minerality. This vintage offers both ripe fruit expression and bright acidity, as well as showcases the complexity this small block of old vines give.
Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.
Vintage Notes
A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes. Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region.
The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions.
The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average. A classic Oregon vintage!
