Warm, ripe notes of red fruits, violets and rose hips, finishing with a pomegranate syrup weightiness on the palette.
Jillian Barnhart
Sommelier
Enjoy this wine with Dark chocolate souffle cake, pomegranate glaze and top it off with a few macerated pomegranate seeds.
Norma Buchholz
Chef
A delicious Willamette Valley Pinot noir showcasing heaps of red fruit, wild strawberries and dried rose petals. On the palate this wine is fresh and zippy, with soft, ripe tannins.

Winemaking Notes

A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes.
Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region.
The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions.
The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average.
A classic Oregon vintage!
