In 1984, the road tripping bohemians, Felton and Mary, loaded up a van with their cherished cooking equipment and drove to Portland where they opened a barbecue restaurant. It was a laboratory for Felton’s culinary creativity. While Felton and Mary have passed away, their grandson Tory and his wife Roxanna have continued their legacy and are making delicious sauces and rubs using the original recipes.
