Educational Tasting and Tours
Our collection of unique, small-group experiences offers in-depth conversations alongside a carefully selected collection of our highly acclaimed wines. Join us at the winery for one of our private, educational tasting experiences, led by a dedicated host and featuring a specially curated wine flight that highlights the Brooks portfolio, while exploring various wine topics.
Wine Tasting 101: Foundations in Fine Wine
Ready to take your wine tasting skills to the next level? Our expert guides will take you on a tour of our production spaces before teaching you how to taste wine like a pro. With hands-on exercises that focus on identifying and describing the structural components in a wine (tannin, acidity, sweetness, alcohol, body, and finish), you’ll leave confident in your ability to taste and describe the next bottle of wine you try.
- Join us for a tour of our Production Hall and Barrel Room while you learn the unique history of Brooks Wine (availability based on production schedule).
- Participate in hands-on exercises to enhance your understanding of the essential components of wine: tannin, acidity, sweetness, alcohol, body, and finish.
- Lessons are taught using a flight of four diverse Brooks wine selections, accompanied by a guided tasting.
- Explore your new skills as you sit back and nibble on our famous fromage and charcuterie plate with a Paco Board. Paco Boards feature charcuterie, cheese, jam, nuts, and bread. (Please reply with any food allergies.)
- The experience is approximately 90 minutes in length, with the seated tasting indoors. We will be walking and climbing a few stairs, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
$80 per person ‘class fee’ with a minimum guest count of four people (smaller groups can be accommodated, but the fee starts at $320 for up to four guests, an additional $80 per person over four guests, one fee waived for every purchase of four bottles). $45 deposit per person required at the time of reservation.
Reservations are available daily at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Wine Tasting 201: Somm Selections
Take a deep dive into the world of wine with a private guided tour and tasting examining a more nuanced wine tasting topic. During the tasting your host will utilize a dynamic flight of six wines pulled from across the entirety of the Brooks catalogue, featuring wines long removed or rarely featured in the tasting room to illustrate a specific facet of the wines being poured; topics may include but are not limited to soils, AVAs, age-ability, vintage variation, or clones. Leave with an enhanced appreciation for the detail and nuance of fine wine.
- Join us for a tour of our Production Hall and Barrel Room while you learn the unique history of Brooks Wine (availability based on production schedule).

Independent Study: Cultivate Your Curiosity
Discover your passion in the world of wine with a personalized tour and flight tailored exclusively to you. Work with one of our dedicated wine specialists to select a topic, decide on a tour, and discuss your wine flight preferences; then sit back and enjoy the wines, relevant stories, and educational content our team has developed exclusively for you.
- Choose your own topic to explore: AVAs, comparing warm and cool vintages, soil types, varietal expression, The Brooks Estate, vertical tastings, growing practices, or a pop culture-themed tasting. The only limit is your creativity and interest!
- Enjoy a tour of one of our amazing spaces, as relevant to the topic: the Production Hall and Barrel Room, the Brooks Garden, or the Brooks Estate Vineyard (availability based on production schedule).
- Enjoy a customized flight of four to six wines selected specifically for your party, pulled from the entirety of the Brooks library and current catalogue, illustrating the topic at hand.
- Pair to perfection with a specialty small bite created specifically to complement the customized flight developed by our culinary team. (Please communicate any food allergies).
- The experience is approximately two hours in length, with seating arrangements and tour requirements dependent on the topic.
$120 per person ‘class fee’ with a minimum guest count of four people (smaller groups can be accommodated but the fee starts at $480 for up to four guests, additional $120 per person over four guests, one fee waived for every purchase of twelve bottles.) $60 deposit per person required at the time of reservation.
