2011 Temperance Hill Pinot Noir

2011 Temperance Hill Pinot Noir

This bottling is about great replationships, patience and good fortune.  When we were approached witht the opportunity to purchase fruit from the old vine vineyard, it was obvious what we wanted to do with it!  Temperance Hill single vineyard wines are some of my favorite in the Willamette Valley.  This was our opportunity to make one of our own.  Only 200 cases produced.  Enjoy!

Tasting Notes

92 Points | Vinous - Deep red. Sexy, high-pitched red and dark berry and potpourri scents are sharpened by a minerally aspect and a hint of peppery spices. Sappy, incisive and pure in the mouth, offering lively raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that gain sweetness and a hint of mocha with air. Shows a suave blend of power and vivacity and finishes with excellent focus and length and harmonious tannins.
