91 Points | Wine Enthusiast - This venerated Riesling producer takes a rare trip outside of its Eola-Amity Hills AVA home to craft this bone-dry, 100% stainless-steel-fermented gem. This wine is made with the Alsatian Clone 49 grown on Ridgecrest Vineyard's marine sedimentary soils in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Aromatics of apricots, spicy mango chutney and a trace of petrol start the party. Honeycomb, saline and lemon-curd flavors are joined by enough acidity to wake a bear in mid-hibernation.

- Michael Alberty
This crisp and dry Riesling has racy acidity and bright notes of tangerine, grapefruit and kumquat and lemon tart with a long, saline finish.
Jillian Barnhart
Sommelier
Enjoy this wine with, butter poached prawns, garlic braised bok choy, silky smooth mango-ginger coulis & a drizzle of calabrian chili oil.

This single vineyard Riesling showcases the Alsation Clone 49 grown on marine sedimentary soils of the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Dry and refreshing, this wine exudes orange blossom, lemon tart and spice. On the palate, Meyer lemon and tangerine fill the mid-palate with a quenching briney finish tinged with pink grapefruit.

Winemaking Notes

A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes.
Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region.
The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions.
The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average.
A classic Oregon vintage!
