2019 Terue Willamette Valley Dry Muscat
A stunning, dry Muscat with a truly incredible aromatic nose with notes of orange blossom, candied Meyer lemon and peach ring gummies and thirst-quenching acidity.
Comprised of muscat grapes of the clone types Orange Muscat and Early Muscat from the Eola-Springs Vineyard, and Muska Vineyard, both located in the Eola-Amity Hills.
Only 285 cases produced!
A wet, but warm spring with a few mild frosts during late April and fewer than average heat spikes.
Near-record precipitation amounts during late June and early July brought increased disease pressure to the region.
The vintage will be remembered for the early rains in September and rapid cool down into October which challenged harvesting decisions. The cool vintage came largely from substantially lower maximum temperatures while minimum temperatures were near average to slightly above average.
