Rich and luscious on the palate, this Pinot Gris offers up bright notes of citrus, stone fruits, and white flowers with a long, beeswax and oyster shell finish.

Enjoy this bright wine with a coconut & passionfruit cake, a soft whipped cream cheese frosting and candied kumquats!
Norma Buchholz
Chef
Fermented in a 900 gallon wooden cask to round out the mid-palate and balance natural acidity, this wine displays aromas of white nectarine, peach blossom and subtle spice. On the palate, Meyer lemon and golden apple shine, with generous weight and a briney finish.

Winemaking Notes

Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.

Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.

No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
