Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.

Dave McIntyre, Washington Post
Honeydew and green papaya on the nose. The body has a little more weight than a typical pinot gris with lasting acidity, and the palate has notes of lemon pith, beeswax, and underripe pineapple.
Jessica Il
Sommelier
Enjoy this wine with pan roasted whole rainbow trout, seasoned with fennel pollen and topped with a light green salad of radish, celery, watercress, baby dill and parsley leaf. A drizzle of lemon olive oil and a pinch of Oregon sea salt would work amazing as a dressing.
Norma Buchholz
Chef
Fermented in a 900 gallon wooden cask to round out the mid-palate and balance natural acidity, this wine displays aromas of white nectarine, peach blossom and subtle spice. On the palate, Meyer lemon and golden apple shine, with generous weight and a briny finish.

Winemaking Notes

2022 Vintage:
Heavy frost in April delayed flowering and pushed back the season. Cool temperatures in May and June further delayed the vintage. The fear was that the grapes wouldn't ripen in time for harvest if the rain and cold weather came in early October as usual.
Luckily July and August saw hot temperatures that helped accelerate ripening, and temperatures remained warm, and the rains held off until mid-October, allowing for an extended ripening period.
We let our grapes hang out until the last possible minute, just before the rain and cold weather hit. The 2022 harvest was fast and furious, to say the least! The resultant wines are stunningly balanced and expressive. A truly classic Oregon vintage!
