94 Points | James Suckling - Striking nose of acacia honey and lime zest, and on the palate there’s a fantastic interplay between these two elements. Very zesty acidity and a pronounced smokiness that more deftly counterbalances the unfermented grape sweetness. Electric lime and mint freshness at the very long and clean finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold.

The definition of balance, this medium-sweet Riesling has just the right amount of RS and acid making it the perfect pairing for any spicy Asian dish.

Sommelier
Enjoy this wine with honey glazed salmon, grated ginger, lime, soy and a side of lightly salted cucumber with a touch of unseasoned rice vinegar.
Norma Buchholz
Chef
A beautifully balanced medium dry riesling revealing notes of beeswax, orange blossom and nectarine that give way to meyer lemon, tangerine and golden delicious apples on the palate. Unctuous and sublime!

Winemaking Notes

Rain events at the beginning of bloom diminished yields, and a dry summer was punctuated with unprecedented heatwaves. The timing worked in our favor since the heat happened pre-veraison, and the vines handled it well.

Harvest started in early September, but lower temperatures across the state allowed for a long and measured harvest season, with harvest extending into mid-October.

No disease, high sugars, balanced acids, and great flavors. 2021 will undoubtedly rank as one of the top Oregon vintages.
