2022 Orchard Fold Riesling
94 pts Jeb Dunnuck- Bright silver straw-colored, the 2022 Riesling Orchard Fold Vineyard comes from the last vineyard the estate harvests and has more pronounced and beautiful petrol notes lifting from the glass, with notes of savory earth, lemon lime, quince, and fresh herbs. Medium-bodied, it has just a kiss of sweetness, with a balanced feel and lovely, finessed tension. It’s dry but balanced, with a touch of ripe candied fruit. Drink 2024-2035
Comprised of Riesling grapes from the Orchard Fold vineyard located in Eola-Amity Hills. The vines were planted in 2007 in volcanic basalt-nekia and jory soil.

92 Points | James Suckling - For anyone who likes the spring-like freshness of German Kabinett wines, this will feel like coming home. The effusive white tree fruit, spring blossom and garden herb aromas make this youthful Oregon dry riesling very charming on the nose and front palate. Zesty and appley finish. Limited production. Drink or hold.
Exotic floral notes of jasmine along with white fruits of cherry, raspberry, and star fruit characterize the aromas along with sweet herbs and seashells. The palate brings together a perfectly balanced and rich viscosity tied together with a slight floral nectar and ripe fruit flavors that harmoniously come together in this luscious wine.
General Manager/Sommelier
Aromas of nectarine, lemon oil, and citrus blossom. On the well-structured palate great acid is softened by a touch of residual sugar, while supported and pulled together by chalky phenolics.

Winemaking Notes
Heavy frost in April delayed flowering and pushed back the season. Cool temperatures in May and June further delayed the vintage. The fear was that the grapes wouldn't ripen in time for harvest if the rain and cold weather came in early October as usual.
Luckily July and August saw hot temperatures that helped accelerate ripening, and temperatures remained warm, and the rains held off until mid-October, allowing for an extended ripening period.
We let our grapes hang out until the last possible minute, just before the rain and cold weather hit. The 2022 harvest was fast and furious, to say the least! The resultant wines are stunningly balanced and expressive. A truly classic Oregon vintage!
