Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.
"The aromatics are perfumed with flowers and highlighted with peach, kiwi, star fruit, honeydew melon, chamomile flowers, and delicate white tea. On the palate spring floral notes give way to candied yuzu peel, fresh lemonade, and sweet melon, finishing long and bright. I couldn't stop thinking about prosciutto-wrapped melon while tasting this wine—it would be such a fun pairing."
General Manager/Sommelier
"Ridgecrest takes you straight to the summit of a Northern Pacific mountain. Lemon-lime, hibiscus, a touch of evergreen, and ripe papaya spill across the glass. The iconic vineyard of the Ribbon Ridge, AVA, Ridgecrest has been rooted here since the 1980s- so long ago that if you were around when these vines were planted, I have to ask: what brand of reading glasses are you wearing?"
Production Associate
"Bright and inviting, this wine opens with fragrant aromas of orange blossom, ripe yellow pear, and fresh nectarine. The palate layers orchard fruit with notes of yellow apple and dried apricot, while a streak of wet stone minerality adds depth and precision. Medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, it finishes fresh, balanced, and elegantly textured."

Winemaking Notes
The 2023 growing season kicked off with alate budbreak, reminiscent of 2011. Following budbreak, a sudden shift to warm, dry weather marked the season, with only one June rain event.
Ideal Summer weather prevailed until a brief hot spell in August. Harvest commenced in late August, progressing smoothly until rains in September, which delayed picking but alleviating drought stress.
Overall, the fruit quality remained excellent with balanced acidity and moderate sugars. While rain disrupted harvest timing, some fruit still met the 100-day bloom to-harvest rule, suggesting no significant quality differences pre- and post-rain. The 2023 wines will have beautiful concentration, exceptional freshness, and flavors.
