2024 Noble Select Riesling
93 Points | Decanter – Hyland Vineyard gives us exceptional fruit every vintage, but the conditions required to craft true Noble Select wines are rare and specific. When they finally aligned in 2024, we didn’t hesitate.
The Noble Select arrives with a brand new label. The design is a play on the alchemic symbol for gold, because that’s exatly what this wine feels like, drops of liquid gold in a glass. Many of Jimi’s original label designs were playful, knowing riffs on alchemic symbols, so this one carries a little of his spirit and sense of style as well.
Notes of sweet nectarines, ginger, apricot, and yellow Himalayan raspberries. A high acid wine with a lingering sweetness carrying the prolonged finish.
Only 335 cases produced!

Winemaking Notes
The 2024 growing season began with an early bud break followed by warm and dry weather. Consistent sunshine throughout the summer allowed for optimal hang time.
There was a brief heatwave in July, but cool nights helped maintain acidity. Harvest commenced in early October, allowing for a smooth picking process with no pressure to rush.
Overall, fruit quality was outstanding, with balanced acidity and complex flavors. The 2024 vintage yielded vibrant wines with excellent concentration, making it a standout year for Oregon wine.
