Flavor Notes
Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.
"Classic Gewürztraminer aromatics of rose, honeysuckle and passion fruit, Meyer lemon and white pepper. Flavors of rich ripe tropical fruit along with a creamy texture and bright acids make this classic Alsatian varietal sing in the glass and on the palate."
General Manager/Sommelier
"Gewürztraminer can often be treated like the family car, i.e. reliable, sturdy, and slightly perfumed. Misunderstood, the wine is typically popped during the holidays. Our Gewürztraminer is built to handle any turn you take. Calm and pleasing. Yellow plum, soft green apple, chamomile, and white peach all with sustained acidity. Picture a Volvo 240 Wagon with the engine of a Lamborghini. Anything but dull.
Production Associate
"This wine is aromatics, opening with acacia, elderflower, and geranium layered over ripe pear, orange peel, nectarine, and lychee, with a delicate touch of lavender. The palate mirrors the nose, offering a seamless expression of floral and orchard fruit notes with a softly exotic lift. Medium acidity and a medium-plus body deliver the wine through a graceful, lingering finish."

Winemaking Notes
The 2024 growing season began with an earl bud break followed by warm and dry weather. Consistent sunshine throughout the summer allowed for optimal hang time.
There was a brief heatwave in July, but cool nights helped maintain acidity. Harvest commenced in early October allowing for a smooth picking process with no pressure to rush.
Overall, the fruit quality was outstanding, with balanced acidity and complex flavors. The 2024 vintage yielded vibrant wines with excellent concentration, making it a standout year for Oregon wine.
