Flavor Notes
Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.
"A staff favorite and it's easy to see why. First, the color; pale copper with silver highlights. Next highly aromatic qualities accented by florals of cherry blossoms, honey suckle, and jasmine with a touch of ginger root and round out with fruit notes of orange pith, peach, nectarine, key lime, and cherry pie (the list goes on and on). And then.... the palate gives hits of phyllo dough and lemon curd along with all the aromatics pulling through as well. Finally, a long finish lets tasters enjoy this wine even longer with just a touch of texture and lingering acids. A limited-edition wine and one that comes and goes like summer but is just as precious."
General Manager/Sommelier
"As soon as the wine lands in your glass, you're captivated, from the color, to the aroma, to the palate. A blend of 13 varieties planted in our estate vineyard as a sort of trial, it's privilege to continue on with this long going experiment. Soft and pleasing with fresh acidity and body to back it up. White peach, chamomile, and dragonfruit dominate with a touch of phenolics to add structure. A perfect take on an aromatic white that's part of Oregon's experimental past."
Production Associate
"This wine opens with an expressive bouquet of acacia and honeysuckle layered with vibrant citrus notes of grapefruit, lime zest, and orange peel, alongside a lush spectrum of orchard and tropical fruits. The palate mirrors the aromatics, waving together yellow pear, apple, nectarine, and lychee with hints of chamomile, dill, and a subtle wet stone minerally. It's lights body and medium-minus acidity creates a soft, approachable texture, while the medium-plus finish lingers with delicate floral and citrus tones."

Winemaking Notes
A warm, dry spring kicked off the 2025 growing season early and swiftly, with minimal rain or cool-down periods to slow early growth. A short bloom period occurred in early June and was followed later in the Summer by successive heat spikes in July and again in August around veraison.
Sunny days and warm nights continued into early, September, setting the stage for a rapid onset of harvest. At Brooks, picking began on September 7th for Rosé, followed by the first ref wine grapes arriving on September 10th. The Riesling harvest began on September 26th and extended longer than usual, with the last grapes picked for noble selection on October 8th.
This vintage will be remembered and celebrated for its excellent quality, with high color intensity and concentrated flavors, resulting from smaller berries and somewhat lighter yields.
