2025 Pinot Noir Rosé

Youthful, easygoing, and approachable. A burst of Fuji apple, bubblegum, and starfruit dance along to a smooth, rich finish carried by an herbal mintiness. Beautiful pale salmon color, high acid, and focused. While the fruit conveys a light, fresh style the body has a slight strawberry and cream component that broadens its complexity.

Brooks has it all — Great story, great people, great wines.

Dave McIntyre, Washington Post
"Aromatic notes of hibiscus flower, pink rose petals, white cherry, white strawberry and pineapple meld seamlessly into the flavor expression and are highlighted by additional notes of strawberry, melon, prosciutto. The body of this wine comes to life with bright acids. No doubt it will be amazing with salads and seafood and food times over records and sunny days."
Jen Cossey
General Manager/Sommelier
"This wine offers vibrant, aromatic nose of strawberry, watermelon, chamomile, orange blossom, and a touch of honey. The palate is fresh and lively with flavors with orange pith, watermelon, strawberry, and cantaloupe, accented by mint, while high acidity and a medium-minus body carry through to a refreshing, medium-plus finish.

"Youthful, easygoing, and approachable. A burst of Fuji apple, bubblegum, and starfruit dance along to a smooth, rich finish that's reminiscent of a mojito on the beach. Beautiful pale salmon color, high acid, and begging to be drank. You'll feel cooler drinking this wine. Guaranteed to take years off your life. (Not backed by science.) Just do it. Take the plunge."

Winemaking Notes

A warm, dry spring kicked off the 2025 growing season early and swiftly, with minimal rain or cool-down periods to slow early growth. A short bloom period occurred in early June and was followed later in the Summer by successive heat spikes in July and again in August around veraison.

Sunny days and warm nights continued into early September, setting the stage for a rapid onset of harvest. At Brooks, picking began on September 7th for Rosé, followed by the first red wine grapes arriving on September 10th.

The Riesling harvest began on September 26th and extended longer than usual, with the last grapes picked for noble selection on October 8th. The vintage will be remembered and celebrated for its excellent quality, with high color intensity and concentrated flavors, resulting from smaller berries and somewhat lighter yields.
