Fry bread “taco”
Ingredients
Directions
Mix all the dry ingredients together, then add the water.
Combine until the dry mixture if fully incorporated. Knead the dough for 5 minutes and form it into a ball to let it rest in a bowl covered with plastic wrap for 10-15 minutes.
When you're ready to fry the bread, divide it into 4 equal parts and roll the dough out so that it is approximately 8 inches in diameter.
Fry at 300 degrees in canola oil for 45 seconds per side.
Drain on a wire rack and sprinkle with salt. When you're ready to assemble, place the white bean puree down first, then the beef followed by the sharp cheddar with any other vegetables and top with the cilantro crema. Enjoy!
Place all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth.
Heat the beef in a large pot and cook until there is no more pink. Add all of the spices and cook an additional 5 minutes to let the spices bloom, let cool and drain excess fat if necessary.
Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper if necessary.
