It is nice to be home after two weeks of travel especially knowing I am home through Christmas. The weather around the country has been intense. My thoughts go out to everyone who was impacted by the recent tornados. The northwest has had a lot of rain and wind. It is currently moving to northern California. We are supposed to get 5-7 inches in the next few days. I am sitting here by the fire waiting for the rain as I write this!

It is so fun to let Chef Norma know what the wines are going to be for the flight and watch her create the Perfect Pairing. Excitingly, for December, she selected the 2019 Ara which is one of the wines that pushed us into the Top 100 Wineries in the World in 2021 by Wine & Spirits Magazine. A TIME OF REFLECTION AND PLANNING
I often tell people that Shannon, our Biodynamic Gardner is my Zen. I am always on the go and often miss taking in what is happening all around me. She brings a magical perspective full of reflection and joy of what the garden brings to her, regardless of the time of year. She is reflecting but also looking ahead and moving forward on plans to expand our gardens in 2022. Enjoy her update.
